THE PISTIL
.
The pistil is the female reproductive part of a flower. It contains the stigma (4a), the style (4b), and the ovary (4c). The stigma is where pollen lands for fertilization. The style is the stalk that connects the stigma to the ovary. The ovary contains the ovules, which will become seeds when fertilized.
